How much does a data center or cooling equipment model cost?
Most KiwiMill projects start around $10,000, with no fixed ceiling — the drivers are size, level of detail, and features like cutaways, lighting, airflow animation, or interactive controls. Send photos or CAD of your equipment and we'll give you a real number, free.
What kinds of data center equipment can you model?
Chillers, cooling towers and adiabatic coolers, CRAH/CRAC units, battery energy storage containers, generators, transformers and switchgear, substations, server halls, and full campus site models. If it's built from CAD, we can build it in miniature — including the parts of it you want shown in cutaway.
Can the model show airflow, process, or internals?
Yes — that's usually the point. Cutaways and see-through sections expose coils, compressors, and internals; lighting and animation can trace airflow or power paths; interactive controls let booth visitors drive the demonstration themselves, like the computer-controlled power grid we built for Cisco.
How long does a model take to build?
Most models take 8–14 weeks depending on complexity and features. We plan backward from your show or launch date — and in 60+ years, we have never missed a client's show date. For AHR and other winter shows, orders realistically need to land by October.
Will it survive a full trade show season?
It's engineered for exactly that: welded aluminum and brass instead of plastic and glue, built to be handled by thousands of visitors and shipped city to city in a Pelican or custom case that's included with every model.
What do you need from us to get a quote?
Whatever you have — CAD files, engineering drawings, photos, or a spec sheet — plus your show date if there is one. Send it through the quote form and we'll come back with pricing and a timeline.
