KiwiMill built this MRI suite model for Cook Medical, a global leader in medical devices. Rather than modeling a single machine, the project recreates an entire imaging suite in miniature: a procedure room with MRI scanner and patient table, a control room with operator workstations, an equipment room, patient prep and recovery bays, and a waiting area.
A cutaway architectural style leaves the rooms open for viewing, so the entire suite can be taken in at a glance. Small touches bring it to life, including a ceiling-mounted boom with monitors and lighting over the patient table, wall displays showing clinical imagery, branded screens at each workstation, gurneys and seating in the patient areas, and floor markings circling the scanner. Each room carries its own label.
The finished model sits under a clear protective cover, ready for trade shows, sales meetings, and presentations. Room-scale models like this one let medical device companies show not just a product, but the environment it lives in — something photographs and slides rarely capture as effectively.
