Dozens of sanitary clamp fittings join the runs of piping on
this KiwiMill scale model of the Statco-DSI BlenZer. The real BlenZer is a
continuous inline blending system for beverage production, and this inline
blending system scale model shows it as a single open skid with all the
plumbing exposed.

Start at the floor and work up. A finned motor drives a
centrifugal pump at the front corner. Banks of valve actuators sit at an angle
along the left side, and small knob-ended levers top the valves on the upper
manifold. Pressure gauges show colored dial faces. Low in the line, a mass flow
meter sits near the large process tank, which stands on legs and has a cone
bottom, a side manway and a dished lid. A second tank rises behind it.
At the far end, the electrical enclosure has two doors with
handles, an operator display panel and a smaller box mounted on its side. The
skid frame, leveling feet included, is painted a soft gray that sets the
structure apart from the satin metallic finish of the tanks and piping.
Statco-DSI commissioned the model for trade shows. Every
side is finished, so visitors can walk around it and trace the flow from tank
to pump to valve cluster.
