Wind Turbine Model

This large wind turbine model of a nacelle and hub was made for a A-Power Energy to display at trade show. It was fabricated in our Rochester, NY facility and shipped to Texas for setup two days later. The customer supplied us with the order for this job 1 month before it was required to be at the show. The entire staff of KiwiMill came together with our various expertise including engineering design, welding & metal work, shaping, fiberglass and paint. We even built our own lathe to hold the huge 6’ diameter hub.
