Large Scale Radar Dish Model

The Intelcan radar dish model was made in a very short two week lead time. The main frame of the radar is fabricated from welded aluminum, the dish is made from thermo-formed acrylic and the back of the dish was sculpted out of foam and covered with fiberglass for strength. The entire unit sits on top of a base that rotates the dish at 6 RPM.
