This gene sequencing model was designed to show potential buyers the process by which DNA samples are moved through a facility. A robotic arm places the samples in each machine, reducing  human contact and speeding up the process. This allows for quicker results with better accuracy.

The gene sequencing model was made from 3D printed parts, machinist board and sheet plastics. It was shipped directly to a trade show to be displayed on a table lit from below. The whole model fits nicely inside a large Pelican case for ease of travel.
