An aerospace model can serve a variety of purposes:
A set of scale models may be commissioned to launch a new space mission. Satellite models have been used for simulation training; allowing teams to plan for emergency repairs of the actual item in orbit. Many aerospace models have become classroom teaching aids as well as museum displays and commemorative gifts. Aerospace equipment is also frequently made into scale models for trade show use and customer presentations.
