In order to explain and show how their product works, Energy Recovery asked us to make an animated model of their PX Pressure Exchanger.

Two Arduino controllers were used to animate this model. One to turn the stepper motor so the middle would rotate and one to control the lighting effects. The lights were created using RGB LED strips and were timed using a hall-effect sensor to synchronize the movement.

All electronics were hidden in the base to give the model a very clean look.
