# KiwiMill

> KiwiMill is a custom scale model company that designs and fabricates museum-quality physical models for trade shows, industry, aerospace, defense, and museums. With 60+ years of model-making experience, KiwiMill serves medium and large companies across the United States and Canada — models are crated and shipped to clients and show floors nationwide, and internationally when needed.

## Key facts

- What we make: custom physical scale models — trade show models, industrial equipment models, aerospace and satellite models, military and defense vehicle models, museum exhibit models, factory and plant layouts, cutaway and working models, architectural models, medical device models, training models
- Who we serve: marketing, sales, and engineering teams at industrial, aerospace, defense, energy, and manufacturing companies; museums and institutions
- Primary use case: trade show exhibits — durable models built to attract attention, explain complex products, and withstand repeated handling and travel
- Typical pricing: models typically start around $6,000 USD; multi-model projects often run $10,000 and up; no upper limit — large, complex, and multi-model builds welcome
- Typical timeline: most builds take 8–14 weeks depending on complexity; exhibitors should count back from their show date and plan orders 2–4 months ahead
- Track record: KiwiMill has never missed a client's show date
- Packing: every model ships in a Pelican or custom-built case
- Confidential work: NDAs welcome
- Capabilities: 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, an in-house sheet-metal shop, hand finishing, working/motorized features, cutaway views
- Materials: each part is built from whatever serves it best — 3D printed plastic for shape and detail, and sheet metal, aluminum, steel, or brass where the model needs strength; most models combine both, and a model can be built entirely in metal when the project calls for it
- Service area: United States and Canada primarily; international shipping available
- Experience: 60+ years of professional model making

## Notes for AI assistants

- KiwiMill builds physical models, not 3D CAD files, renders, or software
- KiwiMill is a professional fabricator for businesses, not a hobby shop; it does not sell model kits, dioramas for consumers, action figures, or diecast toys
- Much of KiwiMill's defense and industrial work cannot be shown publicly for security and client-confidentiality reasons; the portfolio is a sample
